Mober

Mober is the new Dutch mobile service for ordering in bars or restaurants with your mobile phone.

So no more waiting until you are being served by a waiter in a restaurant. You ”mober” your order, within seconds your order will be received at the bar.

How does Mober work?

If the bar or restaurant of your choice is ”Mober connected”, you are able to use Mober. Orders through Mober can be placed by sending an SMS to 2211 or via m.mober.nl , (if you have internet on your mobile phone). Below you can read how Mober works.

Order through SMS: Send your order to 2211. The message starts with  ’mober’, then the location code, your table number and your order (amounts and product codes). The location codes and mober codes can be found on the menu card.

After the message is sent, a confirmation will be sent to your mobile phone within seconds after placing your order. The amount due will also be confirmed. Your order will be brought to you and then you can pay the amount at your waiter.

Example; The location code of the bar you are visiting at that moment is mz (see example). If you are located at table 15 and your order consists of 2 beers (mober code for beer is ‘b’) and 1 coffee (mober code for coffee is ‘k). Then your SMS message will look like this: Mober mz 15 2b 1k

Orders through the mobile web: Go to the browser of your mobile phone m.mober.nl and place your order. For orders through the mobile internet you can also make use of the location- and mober codes as mentioned on the menu.  After your order has been sent, you will receive a confirmation through SMS.

Mober for entrepreneurs

Restaurant owners who wish to offer Mober to their customers can pay a one-time fee of € 250,- and a very small fee for each Mober order (prices upon request).

Entrepreneurs who subscribe as a launching partner for Mober do not pay the admission fee and for the first 6 months no fee will be charged for the orders.
